Students Study Friedman in Vermont

In early summer, Six UWM students attended a colloquium to study the free-market principles advanced by Nobel economics laureate Milton Friedman. They included two economics graduate students, Alex Anagbado and Jan Philip Steitz, and two economics undergraduate students, Ella Wiedl and Cayden Oneal. Led by Prof. Stephen Miller (Franciscan University), the colloquium was held in Vermont at Capitaf.

The Friedman’s former  summer home was converted into The Milton and Rose Friedman Center and its name Capitaf comes from their 1962 book Capitalism and Freedom.  Our students reported lively and valuable discussions.
