American’s First Pop Idol – Talk by Allison McCracken

The Media Studies Research Collaboratory will have one more event this academic year. Prof. Allison McCracken of DePaul University will be here on Friday, April 27, 3 – 4:30PM, CRT 118 to present her research on “America’s First Pop Idol: The Rise and Fall of Rudy Vallee.” This research is connected to McCracken’s book, Real Men Don’t Sing, winner of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies’ Best First Book Award.
