The mission for the Care at Crocus Community development is to provide a creative supportive home of choice for adults with autism or intellectual/ development disabilities that gives them a sense of pride, accomplishment, and dignity, while providing access to supportive services within a natural environment. CDS developed a community development plan that includes a four-resident Care home with 24/7 care, Centre at Care with an indoor pool, gym, and therapy rooms, apartment building with one and two bedroom unit layouts, and a supportive hub for resident, caregiver, and family training. A conceptual site plan illustrates how the buildings can create a neighborhood of activity and outdoor gathering areas.  A final site plan might yield a single family residential development encompassing the community for residents families.
