Interior Rendering
The UWM Pathway advising office was dated and needed a fresh and modern update to help students looking at prospective majors feel more welcome. Community Design Solutions was contacted to help UWM re-imagine the waiting space and the exterior hallway wall. The current space had a lot of clutter and no social space. The new plan allows students and families to sit and wait for the advisor. As pictured below, the design shows the new vibrance the updates to the hallway and waiting space will give. The walls are given a grey tone to keep the space calm and modern, and an accent wall to add some color and school spirit to space. With the restrictions of budget and the need for more storage, CDS plans for modern, cleaner furniture and storage as allowed from the UW system. The inexpensive updates will make students feel more comfortable and welcome.
