Dear Students,
Welcome to UWM’s campus — I’m glad you’re here! I hope you’re looking forward to the year ahead. College is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. I hope you take advantage of the many opportunities to get involved, make new friends and pursue your passions.
I put together a brief welcome video to share a few thoughts as you begin the year and encourage you to make the most of your time at UWM.
As you think about ways to get involved in campus, I invite you to check out Fall Welcome. Whether you go to a soccer game, join an off-campus excursion or have fun right here on our campus, there are plenty of new things to try.
Watch for several special activities planned for the week leading up to my inauguration and Panther Family Weekend, including the Inaugu-Roll: Roller Disco Party on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and a drone show after the women’s soccer game at Engelmann Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 24.
I am excited to start this new year with you, and I look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories. Thank you for choosing UWM. Let’s make this a great year together.
