Tech Support We Provide

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) supports educators in their use of teaching and learning technology. Our team members can troubleshoot technical issues and provide ways to effectively integrate various technologies into your teaching.

  • Who We Support: UWM instructors and staff members.
  • Supported Tools: CETL offers support for teaching and learning technology tools like Canvas, Zoom, Kaltura, Hypothesis and more. Complete list of software supported by CETL.
  • Tools Supported by Other Departments:
    • UWM Helpdesk: Instructors should contact UWM’s Helpdesk for general software support (e.g., password issues, Outlook, Office 365, etc.).
    • Classroom Services: Instructors should contact Classroom Services for assistance with AV/IT equipment and control systems used in classrooms (e.g., classroom lecture recording systems).
  • Student Support: Students who require technical support should contact the UWM Help Desk for assistance with Canvas, Zoom, Outlook, Office 365, etc.).
