Sojourning Songs: The Underground Sound of Black Masculinity by Dr. Derrick Williams

Dr. Derrick Williams is a Communication professor at Cuyahoga community college in Cleveland, Ohio. He has an extended career as an activist-academic, communication specialist and experienced college program developer.
This workshop will explore how Black masculinities can be observed through music. Through all genres, Black men have expressed and articulated the underside of the American experiment.
