An Innovative Cities Lecture

Biographies
Adam Rosa is the Founder and Principal of COLLABO, a Chicago-based planning and urban design practice recognized for leading innovative and equitable neighborhood revitalization projects that yield positive outcomes and enhance the lives of local residents. Throughout his twenty-five-year career, Adam has dedicated himself to making a meaningful difference by serving communities in need and ensuring a significant positive impact through local empowerment and strategic implementation.
He has had the privilege of collaborating with diverse neighborhoods across the nation, developing enduring strategies that reflect the culture, spirit, and potential of each locality. His work emphasizes a tailored approach, respecting the unique characteristics of each community. Through these efforts, Adam has cultivated a robust network of resources and partners, which can be mobilized to effectively address complex challenges. Projects led by Adam Rosa have garnered numerous accolades at local, state, and national levels, affirming his commitment to enhancing community well-being and demonstrating the transformative power of thoughtful urban design.
Dr. L David Stewart is the Director of Design Practice with Territory Chicago. He is a multifaceted reformed architect, academic and strategist responsible for design project management and development, expansion, and managing the direction of Territory. Dr. Stewart is passionate about education and providing opportunities to youth in the fields of architecture and urban design. Dr. Stewart seeks to transform Territory into the preeminent design firm in Chicago and have fun with the youth doing it.
