How do you contribute to UWM's goals?
I have taught hundreds of students ESL in the Intensive English Program. I also spend time explaining cultural differences and helping students with practical everyday needs and concerns. I've liaised with Dina Wolf from CIE on several occasions and have invited many guests to my class to give students a taste of "real" America. Students have also joined me off campus at times when appropriate.

What would you like people to know about you?
My parents are Nigerian. I lived there 15 years and have scores of relatives and friends there. My children went to the Milwaukee German Immersion School, and I lived in Kuwait for 2+ years. I am very interested in international development, read voraciously and enjoy people from different countries/backgrounds. I am a PTA officer and have chaired Black History Month activities for six years.
