Milwaukee Evaluation: Social Justice & Evaluation Conference

¡Milwaukee Evaluation! Inc. is hosting its flagship event the Social Justice & Evaluation Conference on March 15th in Madison. Below you’ll find information about our keynote,Vu Le from Seattle. He runs a nonprofit that helps organizations led by people of color and writes a popular blog (see posts below):
- How the concept of effectiveness has screwed nonprofits and the people we serve
- 20 ways majority-white nonprofits can build authentic partnerships with organizations led by communities of color
- Brett Kavanaugh, and why we must stop intellectualizing and take more actions
- Philanthropy and the Destructive Illusion of “Leveling the Playing Field”
His approach will help participants unpack the unintended consequences of “effectiveness” and “impact” and help reorient evaluation to fulfill its social responsiblity.
