Community Brainstorming Conference

The Community Brainstorming Conference is a well-known and very highly regarded “Fourth Saturday Breakfast Forum.” CBC takes great pride in its openness, the integrity of its programming, its “James Howard Baker Award” and the empirical fact that since August 2012 it has held 318 consecutive breakfast forums, with over 50,000 participants. Thus, CBC has been able to realize one of its fundamental, purposes, and that is, a continuous drawing together of the visible and voiced with the invisible and voiceless in the community, for the sake of advancing the interests and good of African Americans in particular, and the city in general.
