UWM’s Ideas Challenge offers students unique skills that make them valuable to companies and to the startup economy.
Ideas Challenge is the name we give to a collection of innovation and design programs and courses designed to bring out the entrepreneur in anyone, regardless of major.
In addition to a strong entrepreneurship curriculum offered in the Lubar School of Business, the Ideas Challenge is helping connect more students to our growing “maker” movement, which will have physical home in The Lubar Center for Entrepreneurship, now under construction.
UWM faculty can also tap into the commercial end of promising research by participating in I-Corps at UWM, sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Interdisciplinary and multi-faceted, it’s designed to address the entire process, from conception and design to financing and customer discovery. The Ideas Challenge gives you the chance to learn by doing.
