Career & Internship Fairs

Each year the CPaRC hosts up to 10 career and internship fairs to help employers connect with UWM students. Benefits of attending UWM career fairs include:

  • Meet talented, mature and goal oriented students in every UWM discipline from freshmen to PhD as well as alumni
  • Identify a pool of candidates for current and future recruiting needs
  • Increase your organization’s visibility and branding
  • Share career-related information with students to utilize in their career planning
  • Connect with UWM faculty and staff

• The UWM Part-Time Job and Internship Fair an annual popular Job Fair held in September.

• Attracts a Diverse population of students from all  Majors/Programs.

• This is an opportunity to meet with 600 plus students looking for part-time jobs, seasonal jobs and internships.

The Fall  Career Fair is UW-Milwaukee’s largest career fair with over 100+ employers in attendance.  This is our most popular fair for both employers and students so register early!  It is typical to see 600+ students attend this fair.  This is your chance to meet with students and alumni searching for internship and job opportunities.

Career Fair Package Options

Career Fair Package ($400 for-profit/$350 non-profit)
  • Reserved table at career fair, coffee, lunch, parking for 2 recruiters
  • Priority placement of table/display at career fair ($100)
  • Extra recruiter attendance ($50 which includes 2 representatives, lunch, and one parking pass)
  • Electrical outlet access ($10)
  • Flat screen TV for PC Hook-up ($250)

Parking at UWM

You will be provided with one reserved parking pass to park in the UWM Student Union.  Please follow these instructions to use your Pass Card:

  1. Enter the garage from E. Kenwood Blvd
  2. The entry to the driveway has two lanes, use the left lane only. NOTE: Ignore the FULL sign if lot is full, a space has been reserved for you
  3. Stop at the Pass Card reader
  4. Swipe the striped portion of the Pass Card completely through the card reader slot with the stripe facing the red arrows
  5. Be sure to swipe the entire card without stopping
  6. When the gate arm rises, enter and park in any available space on either level
  7. Upon exiting, repeat step 4. If card is designated as ‘Entrance Only’ then remit your Pass Card to the cashier and pay the determined amount.
  8. The Pass Card is valid only on the date noted on the card and WILL NOT work on any other date.
