Lake Freeway

Title:
Lake Freeway
Summary:

A group of unidentified people at a public hearing present the idea for a new highway that will help resolve traffic issues on I-94. There is a map that has 4 different corridors the highway could take, but corridor #4 has overwhelming support. An unidentified man says the city of Racine strongly recommends they adopt corridor 4. He says it has the lowest cost and will be the least disruptive to the community. An unidentified woman says to just increase the number of lanes on I-94 to 12 from 6 and the best way to improve quality of life in Racine is to keep a highway further away. Corridor 4, at 500 ft. wide and 25 miles long, would run through both Racine and Kenosha counties.
