Fine Arts Gallery

The Fine Arts Gallery holds four annual exhibitions featuring various media from artists throughout the Midwest, including an annual student exhibition in spring.

Everyone is welcome to visit the gallery, which is in the Fine Arts Center of Southview Hall (across from the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre).

Campus Art Collection

The art collection on the Waukesha campus originated in the late 1960s and includes more than 300 works of art, either purchased or donated. The works  represent a variety of media, including graphic arts, painting, sculpture, ceramics and photography. Since 2010, the UWM at Waukesha Library and Art Department have collaborated to present the Annual Art Student Purchase Award, which recognizes some of the most talented and promising art students on our campus. These and other works are on display in the library and around campus.

Art Club

The Art Club provides stress-free fun in a non-judgmental environment where students can express their emotions through various projects and art trips. See the student organizations page for more information.

Wood Kiln and Ceramics Studio

The UWM at Waukesha Field Station, a 92-acre property that features a restored prairie, also houses a classroom building and a ceramics studio with two outdoor wood-fired kilns. Art classes using the kiln are available through Continuing Education.
