Learning in a Costa Rican Wasp, and Why Wasps Are Our Friends

April 24 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Teresa Schueller, Associate Professor of Biology, UWM College of General Studies and Director of the UWM at Waukesha Field Station.

Wasps serve important ecological roles even though they are often underappreciated and even reviled. Dr. Schueller will discuss the importance of wasps in supporting ecosystem services and provide an overview of her recent Costa Rican research project focusing on social wasp learning.
