Nigel Rothfels is a Professor in UWM’s Department of History and in his recent book on the history of Western ideas about elephants, Dr. Nigel Rothfels explores how our thoughts about elephants also tell us something about who we are. In this talk, he will share how some of his own ideas about elephants changed while he traced their trails in history.
