UWM Announces Plans to Close Waukesha Campus

The Diversity Center welcomes and supports all UWM at Waukesha students.

Students gather to meet in the Diversity Center.

It offers tutoring, academic programs and resources that are available to all students. The center also provides a quiet study room with computers.

We encourage diversity by promoting academic success while creating opportunities to understand and appreciate people from all backgrounds. By collaborating and partnering with student organizations, campus departments and the community, we provide educational and social experiences that foster an inclusive and welcoming campus environment.

Special Programs

Panther Talk was created to tackle topics in an honest, mediated setting. All topics seek to further awareness and understanding of the different experiences members of our community and others go through.

Lunch Meet is a monthly event where students can meet faculty, staff and community members. Come and hear about their personal and professional experiences at the campus and the community. Come with questions – this a great event!

The Pre College Program works with students in the Waukesha school district in grades 6-12 to provide both academic and social support to help students succeed. We prepare our students for the future by working on skills that will help them excel, assist in determining goals, and explore possible college and career options.
