California Guitar Trio

The California Guitar Trio comprises Paul Richards from Los Angeles, Bert Lams from Belgium and Hideyo Moriya from Japan, who have been performing together for 25 years. Their technical wizardry is breathtaking, as is the wide range of instrumental music they perform – from unique originals to dazzling, cleverly arranged interpretations of music from the Beatles to Bach and beyond. Socks in the Frying Pan

Don’t miss this award-winning trio from County Clare Ireland – the universal hub of Irish traditional music. Socks in the Frying Pan includes Aodán Coyne on guitar and vocals and the accomplished Hayes brothers — Shane on accordion and Fiachra on fiddle and banjo. They blend Irish traditional melodies with their own personal flair, which has gained them critical acclaim and accolades including New Band of the Year by the Irish Music Association.
Wisconsin Brass Quintet

Founded in 1972, the Wisconsin Brass Quintet is one of three faculty chamber ensembles in residence at UW-Madison’s School of Music. Regarded as one of the “superb brass ensembles in the USA” (Musicweb International) and praised for “remarkable musicianship and versatility” (International Trumpet Guild Journal), the group is at the forefront of brass chamber music.
Tickets for all shows go on sale in August. You may purchase tickets online or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. UWM at Washington County students get in free with a student ID.
All seats are general admission (no assigned seats) and all ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.
Doors open one hour before the performance. If you have a ticket, you are guaranteed a seat. However, we suggest groups of more than four arrive at least 30 minutes before the show to be seated together. Groups of four or fewer may want to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the event to be seated together.
Theatre on the Hill is on the second floor of the UWM at Washington County campus. Use the main entrance and follow signs and steps to the second floor. An elevator is also available. Free parking is available in the faculty or student lots.
