Microsoft Sway is a web-based presentation and storytelling tool that is part of the Microsoft 365 suite licensed to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM). It allows users to create visually engaging reports, presentations, newsletters, and web-based content using an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface—without needing advanced design skills. Sway automatically formats content for a polished, responsive layout that can be viewed on any device. It also integrates with other Microsoft 365 applications, enabling users to easily incorporate content from OneDrive, Word, Excel, and other sources. As part of UWM’s Microsoft 365 environment, Microsoft Sway provides a secure, accessible, and user-friendly platform for sharing ideas and information online from any device with an internet connection.
