Green Fund
The UWM Green Fund is supported by segregated fees and provides students with monetary resources to implement campus sustainability projects. Through these student designed and implemented projects and initiatives the Green Fund helps to foster sustainable practices and a healthier campus culture here at UW-Milwaukee.
Funding is allocated to students through a submission process headed by the Green Fund Allocation and Mentorship Committee (GFAMC), which evaluates project submissions in the Fall and provides mentorship to the student project leaders during the implementation in the Spring

The GFAMC selects 2-5 projects each academic year.
The GFAMC will announce the next projects approved.
What is the Green Fund Allocation and Mentorship Committee?
The Green Fund Allocation and Mentorship Committee (GFAMC) is a collaborative group between the Student Association, Students, Faculty, Staff and Administration to promote environmental sustainability ideals and practices here at UW-Milwaukee. Beyond this basic purpose they evaluate Green Fund project submissions, allocate the Green Fund to approved projects, and mentor students to implement these projects and initiatives on campus.
