Initiatives

The Student Association serves as the official voice of UWM students—advocating on their behalf to UWM faculty, staff, and administration, the UW Board of Regents through the Shared Governance System, other UW campuses via System Reps, and nationally through conferences and annual lobbying efforts in Washington, D.C. They work on initiatives that impact academic programs and the broader university community, such as the Green Fund, and oversee key campus processes like Student Fee Allocation and Registered Student Organization Grant approval.
