Applying to Field

We accept field applications on a rolling basis once the prior semester field application closes. It is very important that students submit their field application by the due date for the semester they are scheduled to start field.

Accessing the Field Application

The Social Work Field Program uses Sonia as its field placement software. Field applications part one and part two are located in Sonia.

• Information for setting up your username and password will be emailed to you. 
• Use your UWM username and password to log on to Sonia.
  • If you have not received your username and password, or can’t find it, please complete the Field Application Account Request Form. 
    • We will send a new login email within two business days.

To access Sonia go to Sonia Login Page

• Students, select “student” as your role.
• Field instructors, select “site” as your role.
