Emily Velazquez, MSW, CAPSW

Emily Velazquez joined the staff of the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare in October 2026 as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Social Work Field Liaison. She earned her graduate and undergraduate social work degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Emily is a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker with experience in providing victim services to survivors of sex and labor trafficking including case management, advocacy, and therapy.
