Meggan Thompson, DSW, LCSW

Meggan Thompson, DSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and consultant whose work focuses on homelessness, supportive housing, complex care, systems change, and interdisciplinary practice. She works with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Office of Applied Gerontology and consults on development of UWM’s DSW program. Meggan also consults with the Pathways Housing First Institute and serves on planning committees for national and international Housing First conferences.

Her professional background includes graduate-level teaching and applied research with the University of Southern California, outpatient mental health practice, mobile triage, and systems-focused work with Los Angeles County Departments of Mental Health and Health Services serving individuals experiencing homelessness. Her interests include community-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and translating research into practical strategies that improve quality of life and service delivery.
