Adrienne T. Holden, MSW, MPH, LMSW, ACSW, DBH

Dr. Adrienne Holden is a lecturer in the Social Work Department at the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare. She earned dual master’s degrees in social work and public health from Saint Louis University and a doctorate in clinical behavioral health management from Arizona State University. She is a seasoned social work and public health practitioner in the specialty areas of medical social work in hematology, abdominal transplant, renal dialysis, and has worked as a lecturer of undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of practicum, field instructor and professional development at Washington University, University of St. Louis, and St. Louis University. Dr. Holden is currently responsible for building BJC HealthCare’s physician business lines of service to the communities at large. Prior to that, she was the regional health systems director for the Alzheimer's Association.  

Dr. Holden has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings such as hospital and community mental health, senior care facilities, and mental health/outpatient and residential settings. She has been an instructor at UW-Milwaukee since 2020 when she taught Aged to Perfection and Social Issues and Policy Analysis.
