Justin Beckett, LICSW, BCD, CADC

Justin S. Beckett (he/him/his) is a U.S. Air Force Officer and clinical social worker. His professional experience includes 14 years of active-duty military service in mental health including 10 years enlisted as a mental health technician and CADC. He earned his commission in 2019 after a three-year sabbatical from military service. He earned his MSW through Boston University and worked in community mental health in the greater Boston area as an outpatient therapist and later clinical coordinator of outpatient services.

Most recently, Justin led base mental health operations in a remote military installation and provided crisis intervention, case management, and outpatient therapy with specialization in treating trauma and stressor-related disorders. He is pivoting from primarily a clinical focus to research with interest in advancing the prevention, treatment and recovery of trauma and addiction within both the military community and society.
