Participate in this campus-wide symposium to explore and elevate community engaged teaching, scholarship, and research, especially as these practices relate to student success.

9am-11:30am: Field Trip
– Visit three sites in the city of Milwaukee where community-university partnerships have made an impact. Field trip led by Professor Arijit Sen

12:15pm-1:30pm: Teaching Towards Slow Hope – Book Talk with author Douglas Haynes

1:45pm-3:15pm: Workshops
–  How to Do Experiential Learning In Your Course
– Making Sense of UWM and Plugging in to Community

3:30pm-4:30 pm: Networking Happy Hour
