Gender Identity in the Engineering and Architecture Industries

Join to hear LGBTQ+ professionals speak on their experiences related to gender identity!

Industry Professionals:

Lauren Duncan (she/her/hers) Lauren has an MBA and Masters in Mechanical Engineering and works at the world’s premier aerospace company. Beyond her day job – Lauren is active in building a world that is more inclusive for transgender individuals. She is active in the LGBTQ community inside of corporate environments and in the local Cincinnati community.

A.L. Hu (they/them/theirs) A.L. Hu, AIA, NOMA, EcoDistricts AP, is a queer, nonbinary transgender Taiwanese-American organizer, facilitator, and Registered Architect who lives and works in New York City. Their practice synthesizes organizing for racial, class, and gender justice with design; rethinks the architect’s role in facilitating accessible spaces; and manifests in design, visual media, and collaborative cultural work.
