WGS 489 Course Page
In 2023-’24, Morgan Foster taught WGS 489: Internship in Women’s and Gender Studies. This class counts for elective credit for WGS majors and minors and is taken by WGS students in their third or fourth year.
As one of the Experiential Learning Teaching Fellows, Morgan took advantage of the opportunity to revise her syllabus from the previous year and include high-impact career readiness practices for her students. Brainstorming with the Fellows helped her refine the intentions of the internship course and provide students with an opportunity to apply their coursework in a hands-on, tangential way.
