Prison Birth Simulated Experience

Experience the reality that many women face when they have to give birth while in prison. Participants walk through the experience of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care, focusing on the intersection of healthcare and security.
Prison Birth simulations in partnership with McNeely Prison Education Consortium, MU Nursing, UWM Nursing, UWM Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, Ostara Initiative, and Wisconsin Birth Project.
