Interests and Expertise
Summer Ostrowski's expertise is in human anatomy and vertebrate paleontology. She has been teaching human anatomy for over 12 years and has a passion for helping students learn about the human body as they work towards their careers in physical therapy, athletic training, and occupational therapy.
Ostrowski's research involves excavating, examining, and describing fossil vertebrates to better understand their biogeography and evolution. To date, her research interests have mostly revolved around fossil fishes of Madagascar and small fossil vertebrates from the United States.
