Timeline to Completion

Students complete 6 semesters of didactic course work over two years, starting in the summer. During these two years, you will be in the community every semester and will complete one formal clinical rotation.

In addition to formal coursework, you will complete a third year which involves two, twelve week clinical rotations. Students may choose to add a clinical practice elective in spring year III that would be 12 weeks long in a specialty area. These students would graduate the following May (one more semester) and incur additional tuition and travel expenses based on the internship’s location.   

It is expected that a full-time student will take at least two and a half years to successfully complete the program.
