Public & Nonprofit Administration

Lead with Purpose. Serve with Impact.

The Department of Public and Nonprofit Administration is an academic unit within the College of Letters & Science, offering graduate degree programs that prepare practitioners for the leadership and management of public and nonprofit organizations.

Through rigorous graduate programs and professional development opportunities, students gain the analytical, managerial, and leadership skills needed to strengthen organizations and serve communities effectively.

In partnership with the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management, the department combines experiential learning and community engagement to equip students with real-world experience. Whether pursuing a master’s degree, enhancing another graduate program, or engaging in applied research, students graduate ready to lead with integrity, innovation, and impact.
