Richard Peltz Memorial Award for Excellence in Philosophy Scholarship Ceremony

This year’s Richard Peltz Memorial Award for Excellence in Philosophy essay scholarship ceremony took place in Curtin Hall, Room 607 on May 10th. Associate Dean Jasmine Alinder presented each student with a $500 scholarship for their respective essays:

Graduate Student John Muller, “Philosophy without Title: Hume’s Skeptical Principles in the Treatise”

Undergraduate Philosophy Major Sydney Maxwell, “Nicotine and Akrasia: How Aristotle can help us understand the moderen day smoker”
