Teaching Interests

Professor Neevel teaches an introduction to Asian religions, upper level courses on Hindu and Buddhist religious thought, and courses on theory and method in the comparative study of religion.

Research Interests

Professor Neevel's current research concentrates on the historical development of the Hindu and Buddhist savior-figures.
