Biographical Sketch

After wandering the cold tundras of Iceland for many decades, Ágúst I. Magnússon found his way to the sunlit beaches of St. Petersburg, Florida, where he discovered the joys of Plato and Cuban sandwiches. Since then he has studied the mystical arts of Buddhism, Christianity, and Ninja Movies with great vigor and excitement. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the Jesuit masters at Marquette University and has been teaching at UW Milwaukee since 2016. He enjoys coffee, nice shoes, and the delicious nectar of existential despair.
