Unplanned Network Outage affecting buildings in the Northeast Quadrant

Network infrastructure serving the NE Quadrant of campus experienced issues this evening sometime before 9:00PM and became unresponsive.

Routing and the status of network links appeared normal, but network traffic was not passing the devices properly. Management of the devices was impossible until staff could get onsite and physically restart them and then recover network and DNS service for the area. Service was restored at approximately 10:30PM.

Network access for devices in the Northeast Quadrant of UWM’s Kenwood Campus would have been unavailable or severely limited during this time.
