DNS/DHCP/IPAM service maintenance

In order to replace the failed primary controller for DNS/DHCP/IPAM at UWM and return to full service from current degraded state, maintenance will take place to add new hardware to the grid and reinstate configuration.

This work requires a reboot of the current controller acting as primary to return it to backup state. This reboot should take about 5 minutes and will interrupt DHCP service to devices in the Southeast Quad and Southwest Quad of the UWM Kenwood campus as well as remote sites.

DNS service has been reconfigured since last week’s unplanned incident and should not be affected even in the unlikely event of another hardware failure.
