Datacenter Firewall Network Maintenance

In order to maintain the security and stability of the UWM network, upgrades to network firewalls that make up part of the campus network infrastructure will take place over several days.

We will be performing the work on the Datacenter firewall on 12/10/23 from 9am to 11am.

This upgrade potentially affects all services (UWM Applications like PAWS, Cameras, Building controls, or any other devices on the network) but Internet access from the quad networks should not be impacted.

The upgrade will cause two short network interruptions of a minute or two. Most devices should automatically reconnect, but if a computer or other networked device has problems accessing network resources after the event, try rebooting as a first troubleshooting task.
