Outage Description
In order to maintain the security and stability of the UWM network, operating system upgrades to switches that make up the network infrastructure in Architecture & Urban Planning will take place at 10:00 PM on Sunday, November 12th.
Impact to Users
These upgrades require a reboot of each switch and will cause a network interruption of approximately 15 minutes. Most devices should automatically reconnect after the reboot, but if a computer or other networked device has problems accessing network resources after the event, try rebooting as a first troubleshooting task. If the device still can’t access the network after a reboot, please escalate as normally via the Help Desk. Contact information can be found here: https://uwm.edu/technology/help/
