Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint Issue
UWM users have reported that they are unable to access the SharePoint service via the app picker icon in M365. Additionally, this issue is affecting the OneDrive icon in the app picker as well.
OneDrive can still via accessed via: https://panthers-my.sharepoint.com/
As an alternative UWM account holders can use this link for SharePoint access: https://panthers.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx
The Cloud Services and Applications group has opened a high severity case with Microsoft regarding the issue.
05/01/2025 1:00 PM - Microsoft has confirmed it is “widespread effecting multiple tenants.” We will make updates as we get them.
05/01/2025 3:40 PM - From Microsoft: We’re continuing to review the provided traces and are also reproducing the issue internally to gather additional diagnostics that will support our investigation.
05/01/2025 5:00 PM - From Microsoft: We identified that a recent routine update to a portion of the Microsoft 365 navigation service introduced an issue that causes inconsistent user provisioning detection, resulting in affected users being incorrectly redirected to a fallback page. To remediate this, we’re reverting the offending change and monitoring the service to ensure successful remediation.
