Financial Aid

IMPORTANT

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Financial Aid Office operating hours look a bit different this year, but we are still working to serve the needs of students, faculty, and staff.  You can get all your questions answered remotely as the best ways to contact us are via phone or e-mail. Learn more below.

If you’ve got questions about financial aid, try looking through the various pages in the “Finances” section of our website! If you’re not sure where to look, you can ask Pounce the Chatbot in the corner of the page 24/7 and most questions will be answered immediately.  If you have an epanther ID, you do have access to information about items that you may still need to submit and any aid offered to you. You can review our PAWS Tutorial if you need help accessing your account.

Staff are available and responding to e-mails within 1 business day. You can also contact a representative by phone 9 AM – 3 PM Monday through Friday. Advisors are available to assist with more complex issues via phone appointment.  You can schedule an appointment online.

The best way to submit documents is via mail or fax. Many students will also email documents, but if you choose this option, please mask any social security numbers as email is not secure. Tentatively beginning August 10*, should you need to turn in a document in person, the office will be open** to receive paperwork from 10 AM – 2 PM Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

*This date is subject to change pending city, county, and state safety regulations regarding university opening.

**Please note that everyone must wear a mask in order to enter the building and our office. In the interest of everyone’s safety, there will be no exceptions made.

The office will be closed 9/7 for Labor Day.

Use our contact form to send us your question. If you’d prefer to speak with someone we suggest you make a phone appointment with one of our advisors. Learn more below.

Schedule an Appointment

In lieu of in-person appointments, all appointments with a financial aid advisor will be held over the phone. Once scheduled, an advisor will call you at the number you indicate. Be sure to list the best number to reach you, and be prepared to answer a call from a private or unknown number. Click here to schedule yourself an appointment.
