Note: If you will pay the agency more than $5,000 this fiscal year, you must choose an agency from UW-Madison’s marketing contract that is willing to partner with UWM and your unit. Not all agencies can work with UWM due to potential conflicts of interest, and many agencies won’t accept small jobs.

The more specific you can be, the better. For example, “create a Spanish-language video to air on Telemundo and raise visibility in the Spanish-speaking community” is better than “create a video that appeals to diverse audiences.”

Please keep in mind that many agency projects require additional work from MarComm to complete. For example, video projects require close captioning and uploading to UWM’s YouTube account. This work will be charged at standard MarComm rates.
