Our design intern at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center has graduated, and we are looking for a replacement to start as soon as possible. The LEC is a great place to work with a great team, and there are lots of opportunities to learn, take your own initiative, grow, and play.

- Position Title: Innovation Intern – Graphic Design
- Hourly Rate: $15/hour
- Position Description:
- Graphic Design: LEC Programs
- Work with LEC Program Managers to provide original content for LEC events and develop center brand across all marketing:
- Pop-ups; speaker series; I-Corps; Startup Challenge; LEC faculty fellows; and other events
- Content shall include: print and digital (web based content hosted on website, digital newsletter, and social media).
- Work with other Innovation Interns and Program Managers to development content for LEC social media pages.
- Work with LEC Director and Program Managers to provide updates to LEC Annual Report and LEC Quarterly Reports
Event Photography:
- Document LEC events using shared camera – images to be included in print and digital marketing
- Upload and edit event images to LEC shared drive
Programming Support: Participate in and co-facilitate workshops and events
- Pop-up workshops
- Speaking events
- Startup Challenge workshops
- Event setup and reset of LEC spaces
Operational Support: Assist in center operational support tasks such as:
- ensuring shared spaces are tidy and organized
- triaging LEC room technology questions
- answering walk-in questions or participating in ongoing innovation discussions at lunches and events
• Other duties as assigned: additional tasks as assigned by LEC staff

The Innovation Intern will work in the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center (LEC) as an integral team member that helps promote entrepreneurship and innovation across all disciplines, faculty, staff and students at UWM. The Innovation Intern assists with the day-to-day activities of the LEC (marketing, event planning, room set-up, etc.) and is an active member of the LEC team. This position offers a professional development opportunity that has flexibility to enrich professional skills. Intern will report to the Program Manager.
