The 2021 Ettinger Book Artist Series Lecture was held on November 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM.
The Ettinger Book Artist Series resumed this year with book artist, papermaker, letterpress printer, and UWM Art & Design Lecturer Melissa Wagner-Lawler.
A graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Wagner-Lawler has been a Lecturer in Print & Narrative Forms and the First Year Program in the UWM Art & Design Department since 2010. In her presentation, she discussed her process and practice, and her reasons for choosing the book as her primary art medium.
Free and open to the public, the presentation was held on Tuesday, November 9 at 6 p.m. in the fourth floor Conference Center of the UWM Golda Meir Library, 2311 E. Hartford Ave., Milwaukee, WI.
