2022-23 Digital Humanities Lab Teaching Fellows Applications Open

In 2018, the UWM Libraries’ Digital Humanities Lab welcomed the inaugural cohort of Teaching Fellows. We are proud of the success of the program and excited to announce the call for the 2022-23 cohort.

The DH Lab Teaching Fellows Award provides an incentive for faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants to share innovative assignments that integrate digital humanities tools and methods. These assignments reflect specific goals related to engaging digital/multi-modal forms of expression, and certainly may be incorporated into either an in-person or an online class.

As part of their fellowship, DH Teaching Fellows create shared documentation to describe their assignments and participate in a public panel discussion in the spring about DH and teaching, focused on their classroom experience.

Applicants can apply as individuals or in teams of two (Linked Teaching Teams). Each fellow will be awarded a $500 incentive.

Application deadline has been extended to May 27, 2022
