Dr. Magona has written over 130 children’s books in addition to her acclaimed novels, autobiographical works, essays, biographies, and plays.  She is a leading voice on social issues in South Africa, addressing a wide range of themes including poverty, race, HIV/AIDS and the rights of women and children.
