Rachel Kairys

Rachel Kairys is a graduate assistant in the LRC and currently pursuing her MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies in Spanish at UWM. Rachel graduated in 2024 with a dual BA degree in Spanish and International Studies from UW-Stevens Point. While there, she earned her Working Fluency Global Seal of Biliteracy and studied abroad for a semester in Valladolid, Spain. Because of studying abroad, she now has a Spanish Water Dog named Linus. She is excited to provide materials for Spanish learners in the LRC and to spread her love of the Spanish language and culture!
