2025 LRC Summer Internship Celebrates Student Creativity and Cultural Learning
The Language Resource Center (LRC) at UWM recently wrapped up its 2025 Summer Multimedia Content Internship, a four-week hybrid program designed to engage high school students in hands-on projects promoting Chinese language and culture. The internship was funded by the UWM Libraries OER Initiative.
From July 14 to August 8, interns Amanda Gross (Arrowhead High School) and Owen McCarty (Brookfield Central High School) worked 20 hours per week—combining in-person learning and remote work—to explore cultural topics and create multimedia learning materials.
